IHYC Dominates Division 2 and Ideal 18s But Misses Big-Boat Brawn

In this season’s four-night Captain Harbor Friday Night Series, Indian Harbor dominated division 2, with John Cutting’s Easy Red, Jonathan Nye’s Graffiti and Patrick Croke’s Crazy Train securing the first three places. In division 3, David Ornstein’s Dursey and John Ekberg’s
Foolish Pleasure were second and fourth overall, with RYC’s J/24 Old School and BHC’s Tartan 30 Antelope taking first and third places, respectively. With these strong results, IHYC was looking good to continue its winning record in this series, but RYC’s dominance of division 1 and the absence of Bellepheron and Bolt from most of the races cost us, and RYC came out the overall winners. Congratulations to them! You can see the cumulative results here. We look forward to IHYC’s division 1 boats coming back bigger and better than ever next season.

IHYC continued its winning ways in the Ideal 18 competition, with Michael Millard taking first place in the series and Christine D’Amico taking second (results here).
The after-racing parties were as good as ever, with guests commenting favorably on IHYC’s newly-renovated south patio, and everyone enjoying the always-excellent party on the beach at Tod’s Point to close out the series!
