It was a busy week for Indian Harbor's race committee. On Thursday/Friday, August 2-3 and Thursday, August 9, the club hosted the RS Feva XL North American Championship and JSA Feva XL Championship respectively.
For the NAs, the race committee, led by PRO Phil Zecher did outstanding work to string together nine races over the two days despite the light conditions. At the end of racing, the Riverside junior team of Freddie Parkin and Asher Beck came out on top, nine points clear of Tomek Zaleski/Will Baker in second. The top Indian Harbor teams were Elizabeth Cutting/Jordi Helm in third and Sophia and Emmett Debs in 6th. Results
In the JSA champs, the win went to Owen Grainger and Tucker Rose of American Yacht Club while the two Indian Harbor boats again had strong finishes with Cutting/Helm in second and the Debs in fourth. Six races were run in shifty northerly conditions with David Seabrook as PRO. Results
