Regattas

The Club held its first regatta on August 26, 1895 and has maintained an unwavering commitment to racing ever since. The Club currently maintains an active regatta calendar, with opportunities for sailors of all skill levels. The schedule is book-ended by the Geartester in May and the Gearbuster in October, both of which are middle distance races open to boats rated under PHRF or ORC and certain offshore one-designs. Outside of the main sailing season, the Indian Harbor Winter Sailing Association has an active Frostbiting fleet that competes weekly in Dyer Dhows.

Sailors who are interested in crewing, including in the Wednesday Twilight Series, are encouraged to register with the Indian Harbor Yacht Club crew bank.
